Have Gun – Will Travel is an American Western television series that aired on CBS from 1957 through 1963. It was rated number three or number four in the Nielsen ratings every year of its first four seasons. It was one of the few television shows to spawn a successful radio version. The radio series debuted November 23, 1958. The television show is presently shown on the Encore-Western channel. Have Gun – Will Travel was created by Sam Rolfe and Herb Meadow and produced by Frank Pierson, Don Ingalls, Robert Sparks, and Julian Claman. There were 225 episodes of the TV series, 24 written by Gene Roddenberry. Other contributors included Bruce Geller, Harry Julian Fink, Don Brinkley and Irving Wallace. Andrew McLaglen directed 101 episodes and 19 were directed by series star Richard Boone.
Gun Sword, is a Japanese animated television series produced by AIC A.S.T.A. The series is directed by Gorō Taniguchi and written by Hideyuki Kurata. The story is set on the "Planet of Endless Illusion", a place where rogues of all sorts gather. The protagonist, Van, travels the world searching for a man with a clawed right hand who killed his bride. He is joined by several other travelers along the way, each linked to the clawed man by a personal loss. The series aired on TV Tokyo from July 4, 2005 to December 26 of the same year, totaling 26 episodes. Gun Sword aired, in English, on Animax Asia in March 2007. The series is licensed for North America by Geneon Entertainment, who produced a new English dub overseen by New Generation Pictures which its English-language version is also available in Australia from Madman Entertainment and in the United Kingdom by MVM Films. At Anime Central 2010, North American anime distributor Funimation Entertainment announced that they have rescued Gun Sword and re-released the series in late 2010.
Gun is an American television anthology series which aired on ABC on Saturday night from April 12, to May 31, 1997 at 10:00 p.m Eastern time. The series lasted six episodes, each directed by a well-known director, before being cancelled. Each episode involves the same semi-automatic pistol as an important part of the plot. The characters each episode are completely different and appeared unrelated to those who appeared in other episodes. The series was produced by Robert Altman and attracted numerous recognizable stars including Fred Ward, Kathy Baker, Carrie Fisher, Daryl Hannah, Randy Quaid, and Martin Sheen, as well as James Gandolfini in his first television appearance. The theme song was a cover of The Beatles' "Happiness Is a Warm Gun", performed by U2.

Samurai Gun is a manga series written and illustrated by Kazuhiro Kumagai and serialized in Weekly Young Jump. It was adapted into a 13-episode anime series directed by Hideki Sonoda. The anime is licensed in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Germany by ADV Films, which co-financed the series' production. There has been no announcement of the manga being translated into the English language. As the title suggests, it features samurai using guns.
The Restless Gun is an American western television series that appeared on NBC between 1957 and 1959, with John Payne in the role of Vint Bonner, a wandering cowboy in the era after the American Civil War. A skilled gunfighter, Bonner is an idealistic person who prefers peaceful resolutions of conflict wherever possible. He is gregarious, intelligent, and public-spirited. The half-hour black-and-white program aired seventy-eight episodes. Jeanne Bates appeared in varying roles with Payne in five episodes of The Restless Gun. The Restless Gun theme song begins: "I ride with the wind, my eyes on the sun, and my hand on my restless gun..." The song composer is probably Paul Dunlap, credited as the primary series composer, but could have been contributed to by either of the two other series composers, Dave Kahn and Stanley Wilson, also. Two versions are currently posted on YouTube, but neither posting lists any composer or performance credits.
